Hi Shooters and Friends:
I’m looking for any help to find anyone who can rebuild my Walther LGR .177 Rifle, I need a complete job.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.
I know my LGR is an old rifle but alas, so am I.
I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps out of High School NYC (East Harlem) 1964.
Spent two years in VietNam, Sgt 66/67 got myself dinged up (Wounded) honorably discharged 1968.
Became a NYC Police Officer working the mean streets of Brooklyn North. (Retired)
I always loved and enjoyed shooting competitively and currently hold NRA Master Class for both indoor and outdoor Conventional Bullseye shooting.
As time passes so quickly I’ve only been able to enjoy Airgun shooting locally. Nearing my 80th trip around the Sun my long time companion the Walther LGR has given up compressing air. I know there’s a limit for everything but I sure would like to get the old girl back to poking clean holes in a target.
So there is my dilemma, I just need some guidance or advice on a repair or parts supply.
Peace and safety to you all.

Re: Walther LGR
Look up Pilkington Competition on the web. They did A1 work on several of my rifles but now only work on Steyr rifles. Their site lists 3 or 4 shops that work on air rifles. If their referrals are as professional and competent as their work, you will be in good hands.

Re: Walther LGR
This guy used to work for Pilkguns and has since gone into business for himself. I had him completely rebuild a Fwb P70 for me and I will definitely use him again when needed:
