Hammerli 208 trigger adjustments

Post by longfellow »

The fastest and safest way to learn what all of these trigger adjustment screws are for is to talk with someone; so can someone familiar with the trigger adjustments of the 208, please PM me with their contact information. I’d like to call you and have you walk me through the screws and their purpose. I just bought my first 208 and I’m not going to shoot it until I am sure that I understand all of this. It is a 208; not the 208S.
You’re welcome to send your cell to my personal email along with preferred days/times to call. Thanks in advance,

The origional 208 has minimal trigger adjustment.
Also has two trigger setups depending on serial number.
Trigger weight, slack and travel.
There is no sear adjustment.

I’ve got this document; not the clearest or best descriptions which are partly a cultural barrier. That’s why I am asking to just have an old fashioned talk with someone.
